| Creating an iOS + Android app for my community! |

I am thinking about having an iOS iPhone, iPad, and Android app for my community. I have had some requests from users because they think it will be easier to talk to the other members, ask questions and view various content I create.
Does anyone have their own iOS and Android app for their community?

It recently crossed my mind so I am starting this debate with you guys.
What do you guys think about selling an affiliate product well rather should you create a website or just promote it through facebook to get sales? Please answer with reasons. Many will say to use both but that's not the point here remember that.

I have an idea to create sense of community but I don't know how much it is going to work. Suppose if I build a group in facebook in the name of my forum. People will often join it as it a great market place. Well my point here is can I divert those visitors to my forum to be members and create a sense of community as it is like in the fb group?
