How to register in Baidu? - richardwalter - 01-31-2017
I tried to register in baidu, but without a mainland Chinese number its not possible for me register there.
Is there any other remedy measure to solve this.
I tried with to register with my mail id, and i got the verification mail id but for completing the verification we have to give a phone number, but it is not accepting other country number.

You really need a registered Chinese phone number in order to register on Baidu. BTW why do you want to sign up on that search engine?

I think you have to get a Chinese telephone number if you want to sign up a Chinese account, due to the new regulation by Chinese government that all accounts must be related to telephone number or Chinese ID card.

In order to create a Baidu account, there is a verification step where you must enter Chinese Simplified characters. The easiest way to accomplish this task is for someone that can read Chinese to assist.

From there go to settings and bind your email address, now you can log into Baidu using an email instead of phone number.
