Can irrelevant links from Blogspot sites hurt you?
#21
It's generally not a bad thing to have links from irrelevant websites (unless they're spam!). However, links from websites within your industry are always better.

Irrelevant Links:

Your site is linked to places where you do not want your brand to appear. This is usually not the case. Your brand's reputation may be tarnished by irrelevant links from competitors. It's not just a single backlink from a random competitor.

If you wish to reduce your spam links, you can disable them in the Google search console.

Yes, irrelevant links from Blogspot sites, or any low-quality and unrelated websites for that matter, can potentially harm your website's SEO. Search engines like Google consider the quality and relevance of backlinks when determining a website's authority and trustworthiness. If your site accumulates a significant number of irrelevant or spammy links, it may raise red flags with search engines, potentially resulting in a lower search ranking or even a penalty. It's essential to focus on building a natural and high-quality backlink profile by seeking links from reputable and relevant sources within your industry or niche, as this will positively impact your SEO efforts and help you avoid any negative consequences associated with irrelevant links.

You no need to worry about them. Google simply ignore it.
