Its been over a year that I am managing our support forum. From what I have learned that make the forum for people makes it more easier to manage and grow. We ask the audience what they want from us. And we drive the forum according to them. Since then our forum has grown rapidly.

You most certainly can. But don't bombard them with product just refer them every now and then.
