There are no separate tricks. If your site is responsive then its enough no further SEO efforts has to be taken in addition to ranking in desktop SERP's.

Just ask yourself this question when you make search through your mobile. Do you look directly to the first link available? I believe not!!

People searching through mobile devices are prone to look in the second or third position's rather than the first. Its not a made up story. Its fact and a lot of research about this has already proved it.

Hi, sorry for bumping out an old thread but it will be beneficial for newbies. If you want a stable ranking, then responsive mobile site is must because more than 70% traffic comes from mobile users and google highly prioritize the sites that have good mobile layout without having layout shifts in that.
