Why is the article posted online not howing any backlinks? 
If I add backlinks to my onpage article, will it help in improving ranking or just indexing it is enough? I'm concerend...

Saw this old thread and couldn’t resist adding a thought. Sometimes backlinks just take longer to appear in the tools, even if they're already live on the web. Different crawlers pick them up at different speeds. Have you checked whether the linking pages are actually indexed yet? If anyone still has this issue, it might also help to compare a few backlink tools to see if any of them detect the links.
