Some says facebook promotions are useless. I want to know is it really possible to promote & increase traffic via facebook??

Bing bots are unable to crawl my site. I have submitted my site through bing webmasters tool one month ago but no crawler have crawled since then. It does not says any error like 404 or 301, but still no crawl information.

I have a question in regards to linking from the main (home) page or creating a new page, placing text on that new page and linking to a supplier website from that page. Which is better and why?

I have a request to add a banner on the home page that will link directly to the supplier website. I believe it would be better to create a new page, link that banner to the new page where I could perform all the seo tasks needed to get it ranked as high as possible. This to me sounds like the best option.
