How many sites do you need in a PBN to actually make a difference?

I would say 6-8 sites in a network should be enough.

I have 5 to 8 high da sites for my PBN.

As a rule of thumb, 10 PBN links should help you rank easily for a medium competition keyword. So plan for at least building these many sites.

PBN should be avoided, experts say so. So do you ever get any penalty on your site due to links from PBNs?

Even we never get any links from PBN.

For real? is there any blog/article covering that study that shows PBN links helped pages rank well?
