Currently we are looking for a good keyword research and we have narrowed it down to these two. As they both are very expensive so we have to go for just one. Which one should we choose? Any kind of previous experiences of these products or problems if shared then its much appreciated.
SEMrush is the far better than ahrefs if you ask me.

Agreed. If you are willing to pay money. Then why not spend it on the best one.

Why don't you consider Wordstream. Its also a good alternative.
Everybody will pick something what they find best for them. Ultimately you have to decide what's best for you.
If money is not your problem then go for Ahrefs.
Both a equally good for checking your backlinks and reviewing your optimization techniques in search engines.
SEM rush Is better than Ahrefs If money is not a problem then go with Ahrefs with out a doubt. I would Recommend SEM rush for sure.
