Cloaking is a technique used to deliver the content on a Web page to a search engine but in wont be able to see by the user (Hidden text) and it will be crawled by the spider. Its is a black hat technique. It is not good for SEO because we dont know when google will release updates, so if get any update reegarding the hidden text, it may effect to our website. So better to do keyword and content optimization for rankings.
Example : Serving a page of HTML text to search engines, while showing a page of images or Flash to users.
