How to reduce file size?

My WP site has 7 pages total and about 12-14 images. Max image size is 300kb
But the file size is over 350MB.
When I tried to transfer the site to another host using a plugin, it says the file size is huge so it can't transfer unless I buy upgrade.

Now I'm wondering what made it so big in size!

Your suggestion will be highly appreciated.

It’s likely when you install a theme on WordPress blog. Plugins that are available on WordPress are usually free for use. You just need to find a suitable one for your blog and install it. To do this, just simply login to your Admin dashboard and do some steps below

1. Login to your Admin dashboard with your username + password

2. Go to Plugins -> Add New as the image below

3. You see a lot of free plugins on the page. Some basic and popular plugins you need to install first such as Askimet, Yoast SEO, Jetpack, Google XML Sitemaps and much more. Type the name of the plugin in the text box and then press Enter. As an example on the image below, I’m searching for JetPack plugin to install.

4. To install the plugin you select, just simply click on the Install button and then click on the Activate button to active it.

That’s all. It’s very basic and easy to do. Now you know about how to install a plugin on WordPress blog. Your plugin has been installed successfully. And the next step is configuring that plugin if you want.

In this blog, I will show you how to install WordPress on cPanel hosting (in case shared hosting does not support Softaculous). It is only done when you successfully point your domain to your hosting. Then, now we go ahead for the details. Here we go!

Steps to install WordPress on cPanel hosting

1. First of all, you need to download WordPress source code from the official website WordPress.org.
I would recommend you use English version in order to decrease issues while installing and using.

2. Log in cPanel with your given information, you will see an interface like this

3. Keep patient, because all you need to do now is to install WordPress. Click on “File Manager” in “Files” section to access files in your hosting.

Select as the image below, then click “Go“.

4. This is the interface of File Manager. Click on “Select All” then select “Delete” to delete all inessential default files.

5. Click on “Upload” button then select .zip file that you downloaded in step 1 to upload WordPress source code to host.

This progress will run automatically. After finishing your upload, click “Go back…” button to turn back to File Manager interface.

I had came across this wordpress theme site they sake themes and plugins. All of there themes has a fixed prices of $19.
