First time I get my subscribers my giving them a free ebook. I put out a banner saying that subscribe in our daily newsletters and get a free ebook. The ebook was a tutorial which in that niche was back then a rare element so I got plenty of subscribers.

Getting subscribers is a bit of art and also needs hard work. I had created many of my email lists by giving away free stuffs such as free services, free trial for any services, ebooks etc.
