How to fight hidden backlinks?
#1
How am I supposed to fight against hidden backlinks that originate from different sources? The thing is unless I see the code of the host site it is quite impossible to identify the links.

The links are from different domains or single domain?

Actually couple of domains which are giving hundreds of links.

Then you should disavow them at the root level. It will be much easier. Some would suggest that Google will probably ignore all quality links but hidden links can be tricky so its better to get rid of them.

Its better to disavow them now rather than dealing with a manual action penalty later for months.

1. Identify your bad links (you'll find how exactly from this article).
2. Search for the contact information of the website you have the link on.
3. Contact the webmaster asking him to remove the link. ...
4. Disavow the links and upload the file to Google.
