How do guys cope with an attack of web 2.0 sites? I am not saying about a couple of sites but hundreds of them. And they keep coming from different sites of wordpress, blogspot etc.

Disavow them at the root domain level. Its the simplest answer. Once you do that no matter how many sites from say blogspot gets linked you will be safe.
