Social Mention Review

Is anybody using social mention for identifying present day trends in the social sphere. I have been referred it by a friend but when I went to the site it is taking too long to show me the results. Unlike, topsy which is pretty fast.

I found it good for one's brand trend specifically for any product or service. In my opinion for an entire set for field its not that bright. The tool is basically good for those who wants to know that their brand names if getting any chatter or not. In my case the speed of loading the results were just fine.
