I don't understand the obsession, simply. If anybody wants to make a quick money they come to SEO. Why? Its not easy at all!! Then why people keep thinking it is??!!!
And to OP I say if you need money quick then please consider doing some off hour jobs. Doing SEO or something similar isn't going to help you. These things are already getting crawled by plenty of spammers. And in any luck if you do land a client then tell me what kind of services you will offer to them. Do have any experience in this field?
One can earn 10k in one month through SEO but it depends on the services and also the craft of work. There is no telling how to earn a certain of money in what certain amount of time.
