#1
I have recently migrated from http to https. This mean should I have to resubmit the sitemap newly to my google webamasters account?

Ofcourse, you have to resubmit it. Google sees both the http version and the https version as two different properties.

You have to submit the new sitemap. And also you have to keep the old one. Until the new one starts getting crawled and indexed.

You have to re-submit it, because the change of http to https will clearly show on it and will work according to your https concept.

1. Move site over to HTTPS
2. Add .htaccess 301 redirect so all HTTP links should be redirected over to HTTPS
3. Add https site to Google Search Console
4. If you have CDN URL - make sure to install cert on CDN and add it to Search Console too
5. Add HTTPS sitemap under HTTPS property
6. Remove HTTP sitemap from search console as ideally it's same as HTTPS sitemap

A user shouldn't remove the old sitemap immediately.

Yes. You should add both HTTP and HTTPS versions of your website. It will help you to avoid duplicates. If you don't add both versions, Google took these sites are two different websites. It will help you to avoid duplicates.

Hi,

On my opinion you must resubmit your sitemap otherwise the search engine will not crawl your site in a proper way.
Though you just migrated your site then its important to introduce your sites URL with the search engine.

Yes , You must Resubmit the sitemap and keep the old one until the new sitemap gets crawled and indexed by the google. Google works differently on HTTP and HTTPS . so resubmission should not be avoided.
