Having Rival Forum a good thing??

What do you guys think that having rivals boards to your forum, a good thing? I personally see that as an advantage. As forum is a site with many things so it is really very very hard to generate new ideas and work on it.

If there will be a similar board like yours then you can share information and ideas to make both of your forums better. And if your fellow forum admin is it not willing do that, then in that case you can look up to, it learn from their mistakes, take their content gaps and fill it etc.

Hell yeah, its a good thing.

Even though if you are competing with utmost anger and rivalry. Still its very good.

Putting something of your own and comparing it with others, will only make your thing great.
Because you can learn, adapt and improve according to the audiences demands.

Being in a competition is very good way to loosen up the hard work of running and growing anew forum.

You can always come with new ideas because of it. And the most important thing to me. "GROWING FORUM NEEDS EXTREME PATIENCE, SO IF YOU HAVE A COMPETITOR (OR MORE), ATLEAST YOU WILL NEVER GET BORED."
