What are the different between LSI and long tail keywords?

LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) is the a portion of Google's calculation that will crease words into a grid for investigations, with the end goal of recognizing semantically related terms.
Long tail keywords are keyword phrases. These keywords usually have less number of searches and are used to rank your website faster in search results.

Long tail keywords are those three and four keyword phrases which are very, very specific to whatever you are selling. You see, whenever a customer uses a highly specific search phrase, they tend to be looking for exactly what they are actually going to buy.

LSI keywords (Latent Semantic Indexing) are basically keywords that are semantically related to your primary keyword. Contrary to popular belief, they are NOT just synonym or keywords that are similar in meaning.
