EGI Hosting has one of the best Dedicated Server services in the internet. Sure they are not cheap comparison to their competition but sure they are worth every buck you spend. Their bare metal machines are kind of like beasts. Once they starts running there is no turning them off unless you yourself do something stupid or turn them off. Superb performance with great uptime.
Scalable solutions are very like minded for small or medium sized sites which are growing fast. They also provide setups for large sites but I haven't got the chance to check them up so there is that.
They also have quite a lot of data centers around the world so you will never face any downtime. Support is also great but they can be a bit better. Since one time I remember I told them to reboot our machine it took almost one hour for them to do it after acknowledging it. Many wouldn't even notice these kind of things. But as a good customer I would definitely suggest them to up their game.
There isn't much of any downsides of their services. But I would like to mention that their site itself is very retro and takes immense amount of time to load. I would rate them as easy 8/10 kind of service.
