Domain Age doesn't play any role in TH SERP's but link age has some effect.

No, domain age doesn't mean anything for SEO.
For proof :plenty of old sites don't have any ranked pages.
People tend to confuse established followed backlinks with aged domains, two totally different things.
Does Domain Age plays a role or Link Age?
