Please explain the role of "HTTP Request - Response Cycle" in SEO

It has no effect in SEO. Unless it has a tremendously long request response time causing a page to load saying 'Time Out'.

Page speed is also important to user experience. Pages with a longer load time tend to have higher bounce rates and lower average time on page. Longer load times have also been shown to negatively affect conversions.

HTTP headers are the main part of HTTP request and are very important for HTTP Response. The referrer, date, time, redirection, location, server, language, age, host and many more things are included in the HTTP request / response cycle.
