Try using SEO plugin from Yoast. It will give you a pretty good idea.

For recommended keyword density per content is 2 to 3% to avoid keyword redundancy.

There is no longer such thing as "keyword density". This should not be part of any SEO startegy. Calculating this is a waste of time.

The average in a 1000 word article should only contain 5-7 keyword density
Use find tool on your browser to find duplicate keyword or Just only install Yoast SEO plugin and feel the beat

In my opinion there is no such thing as optimum keyword density. As long as it look relevant and natural everything is fine.

Optimum keyword density should be maintained between 2 to 3 percent to get the maximum benefit of your content in search engines.
