Does the links from the micro niche blogs can help to get rank better?If the micro-niche is a sub-category of my primary main niche. I am confused because I often hear people say that the micro niche sites are extinct.

No they are not extinct and also their links get counted if the page linking from has credible amount of authority by itself.

Micro niche blog site still matters for extending your site's influence to the users but focusing solely on rankings is not helpful and it will end on manipulation. Target audience will be the priority here.

Micro niche site posting is not dead. You just have to balance your link portfolio like a stock portfolio...not too much of any one type. Cheers!

They totally exists but if you create many backlinks from them the be aware you might get penalized.
