It shall create problem. Just use the shell to upload your file.

We never use it to upload databases let alone large ones that's a bad thing.

If it’s too big, try zipping it before upload or use SSH with mysql command—much smoother for large files.

What is thee general way to upload through SSH?

Adjusting phpmyadmin is a hectic task.
