Link from a Homepage

Recently, I got a link from a site which lies in the sidebar of its homepage. They has referred me as one of their favorite sites. Is this going to hurt my site or should I disavow it??

Yes, the site is relevant to my niche. I am just worried about this that what if the search engines think that I had purchased link for that site.

This happens all the time you are talking about a perfectly normal link. I will suggest that you leave it there.

If the link is doing good you will see improvement in the search traffic then it's not harm to keep those links.
