If I add microdata in my site then will it help to get my rankings higher in Google?

Well microdatas does not effect directly your rankings. They highlight the contents of you page in the SERP's which gives an advantage leading to more CTRs.

I think it's indirectly affect the Google ranking because it highlights content on search engine.
