Is it a good idea to invest in a mobile for my online business? I mean I have a site and I want my users to have a better experience from it.

Its totally depend on the online business you are into. If your site is selling something such as amazon.com then you should build an app its more favorable for sales. But if your site only provides info or its a social group then I will suggest you to not. In the second case a general mobile optimized site will just do fine. And not to mention that creating an app will cost you money so keep a good eye before investing.

In this age of portable digital devices its a very obvious that you invest in it. But also it depend on the users you are going after are they from desktop or mobile devices which totally depend on the project at hand as 'Brian' said.

You can build an app along side with your mobile site. But an app is always effective if you already have audience base.
