I have a site and I want to sell some of the products which I have already used as an affiliate. Is it wise to build pages from free hosting such wordpress or blogspot, or can I build separate sites with paid hosting to promote and sale my products.

You have already mentioned that you have a site then why don't you build pages in your own site to promote them and make links to those pages from your homepage. In this way you don't have to pay extra and also you will have customized pages for the products you want to promote.

I agree with Paul. Its wise to build pages in your own website which I assume is already ranking in the SERP's. You will get maximum exposure there rather than in web 2.0 sites.
