Using the word free in email headlines

Using the word free in email headlines might end up your mail to spam folder. So, here is my query. Does the entire email get scanned for spam trigger words, or just the subject line?

No email gets flushed out because of a single word. Yeah, using same word which creates incentive repeatedly might get your mail into spam.

Well I use it all the time. You list subscribers should trust you. Otherwise, its not going to work.
