Hi folks,
Can any one tell me what is the difference between between Blog Commenting and Guest Posting?
which one will help to rank my keyword better in search engine results? Since I am still having less experience in SEO hence I could not distinguish these points.

Blog commenting is when you post a relevant comment after reading a blog, which is written by someone else and obviously if you were permitted can leave a link of your site with your anchor text. If you choose blogs in your niche and post well thought out comment, as well as, placing your link with anchor text it will be highly useful to you.
Guest Posting is something different. Here you offer your content to a third party blog in your related field which have a high reader rate & page rank, in exchange for your website link. It's a win, you get a powerful back link so that you get referral traffic & search engine's attention, whereas that third party blog gets your valuable content.

Blog commenting is obviously abused by spammers just to inject their links in different low quality sites while Guest posting was also used by big companies only to implement large syndication of content intending to manipulate the rankings.
