Keyword ranking high but not getting much traffic
#41
Ranking high doesn’t always guarantee traffic your keywords might lack search intent or relevance to what users truly seek. Optimize your meta tags and content to better match user needs and boost meaningful clicks.

I also had a similar issue with my website. Some keywords were ranking well, but the traffic was still very low. I contacted a digital marketing company and they suggested checking search volume, keyword intent and website content. Sometimes ranking high does not help much if very few people are searching for that keyword.

I would first check Google Search Console to see if the keyword is getting impressions. If it has high impressions but low clicks, I will optimize the Title and Meta Description to improve CTR, and ensure the content matches the user's search intent. If there are almost no impressions, it means the search volume is too low, and I would need to pivot to targeting new, higher-volume keywords.
