Do you guys automate the Internal Linking process?

I never heard of a tool that could automate internal links.
And internal linking is done to guide humans to information that is not feasible to be displayed on the source but is still relevant and important.
Why would you automate it?
Internal linking needs to be done by humans and automating it would hurt your SEO effort.
I strongly advise against automating internal link building.
