In your niche for you to survive you have to think something out of the box. Like giving away game's secret code or cheats etc. It a very hard niche. And plenty of forums are already there and so many have tried & failed.
As 'Batman' said see your forum through your audience's eyes. And I am also seeing that your regular day to day activity isn't much. Get some members and start making conversations that will trigger more talks. If you can't get members right away then create some fake accounts and start talking to yourself. It will look like that your forum is active.
