Posting frequently doesn't have a direct impact on SEO. However, it does have an impact on hwow often your site is spidered and how fast your new content gets indexed. Higher frequency posting encourages search engines to spider your site more often which will result in your content getting index faster.

Granted, if your content sucks it really won't matter because indexed without ranking doesn't help you. So write good content, often.
