More social media channels does not necessarily means that they will send more traffic.
If you audience uses facebook then only facebook can drive traffic to your site and the traffic from other social media channels such as twitter will be mostly non-targeted. The idea is good but if the audience doesn't use much social media channels then what's the benefit from it.
