Building and Buying Citations links, considered Back Hat??
#1
Say, if I get Citations links. Mainly from the directory sites where you can list your business and get the outreach easily.

Will that be considered as link spamming or black hat?? Because I will be getting links from them and not all of them are no-follow.

I don't think it will be an issue with Google or any search engine.

Because citation sites are created by users like you so basically they are ugc links. So, they will not help you rank but it doesn't mean that they will be spamming your link profile.

Just don't get them in huge bulks. Say keep the number under 25 per day or so, if you are buying them.

Brian is correct. Even if the links are not ugc now then they will be soon.
