As every individual have their own abilities. Ask it to yourself what you will do. Whether you will be start selling products or you will you be gone to start selling you services hence coding included.

In my opinion it doesn't matter where you start. As long as you know the field or atleast have the interest in learning in that field in case you don't know anything.
The key to success is persistence and patience. So, you have to keep these two up all the time no matter what you choose.
