We run several PPC Campaigns for our clients.
One of our client searches for the keywords to see if they are showing up or not. And finds out that their keywords are showing sometimes in the 3rd position and sometimes at the 4th position.
And then they contacts us about this being worried about their campaign.
Has anyone faced this kind of problem?

'Average positioning' is a problem, try to explain to them that their ads positions are like 1.8 or 1.9
As sometime they will appear in the first position and sometimes they will appear in the 3rd position. It completely normal. It may seem that they are not appearing in the desired position but actually they are when someone else or your client's sometime other searches for it.

Yeah, exactly. But this so hard when it comes to explaining to the clients.

My advice will be to you that involve Google Adwords Support system.
Get the support team at your IM, ask them the same question as your client has asked you. And get an detailed report of it. Send that detailed report to your client.Your client will now believe you as Google itself is verifying your statement.
