Post frequency in a new forum

What is the post frequency you like to maintain in your newly started forum? I mean a new forum needs many types of posts such as how tos, tutorials, discussions etc, which one you publish at what time gap.

I personally preferred when I started my travel forum about discussion topics everyday and tutorial type of topics twice per week.

I basically focus on the niche. If the niche is very competitive then multiple times a day and if it is not then each good one everyday.
