VPS for Game Server Hosting?
#1
I'm setting up a private game server (Minecraft/Valheim).
Specs needed: 6 vCPUs, 16 GB RAM, 200 GB SSD, low-latency network connection.
Are game-optimized VPS packages available? Is Shifthosting.com vps hosting trustworthy?

VPS accounts from hostsailor.com and libertyvps.net are worth your attention.
Awesome. The customer service is good, I had to get some info and someone got back to me within 15 minutes via email. Their response time is very fast. I could see them in the Top Rankings in great offering great hosting products and customer service at an affordable price range.

Give netshop-isp.com.cy Cyprus vps hosting a try. I love the free website builder they offer, making it easy to create a stunning site. Their robust backup system ensures my files are always recoverable.
What is your security policy? Do you provide SSL?

My business has grown as a direct result of the service and support they offer. Shifthosting.com is what all providers should strive for when it comes to customer service and support, each time I contact them regarding an issue they where always helpful and ensuring the issue was fully resolved. Easy-to-use website builder. No coding needed. Perfect for beginners! Best hosting provider I’ve used in years — everything works like a charm!

For Minecraft/Valheim servers with 6vCPU+16GB RAM specs, I'd recommend checking:
Game-optimized VPS (OVH Game Server, HostHavoc) - lower latency with DDoS protection
Shifthosting.com seems reliable based on #5's experience with their support team

Pro tip: Test ping (<50ms ideal) and ask providers about:
  • NVMe vs SSD performance
  • Backup frequency (daily+snapshots)
  • Game panel included? (Pterodactyl/TCAdmin)
