What are the channels that you use to market your content? Paid or free, share your experiences.

Many webmasters have different opinions about this. I am just telling what I had done when I was a newbie. I did forum marketing very seriously, linking my content to the topics (related ones) helped me a lot. Along with I also answered questions in yahoo answers and quora, which help me a lot to outreach to my correct audience. And the most fun part of these methods that you can do them for free.

I agree with admin forums are very good channels for marketing content. Although I like forum marketing and do it all the time but my personal favorite is Guest Blogging. Its not only outreach to the exceptionally targeted audience but also the visitors form the host domains are much more reliable and conversion friendly.
