Wrong Meta Description in the SERP's!! - lou99 - 01-23-2020

Google is showing continuously wrong meta descriptions in their SERP's. I don't understand why? I have submitted a good meta in Google. Its not like that Google is showing wrong metas for our inner pages. Its just for the homepage. I don't know what I am doing wrong here.

Plain and simple these things happen because Google just don't like your meta. In their eyes you may have over optimized the meta that's why they have choose to ignore it and show a appropriate meta on their own.

It can be also the case where Google hadn't indexed your meta yet. Their bots are having a hard time determining the meta and indexing it.

Still doing it, Google is just so ignorant these days.

I changed my meta two times since the last two weeks.

Have you tried making the meta description empty? I mean totally void.

See then what meta description google show for your homepage.

I haven't seen yet any wrong meta tags on Google SERP for my website. Though I have not changed meta tags for my website for a long time.

It seems that you are not putting appropriate content in Meta.
Google wants that 'meta' which can explain the contents of the page better than the meta itself.

If you use a natural language to post the meta then Google may consider using it to describe your meta to searcher's intent.
I hope this helps!

Read mate, what I wrote. I did put correct meta in correct and proper places.

Anyway, I have sort out the mess out. Just followed what @mediadrug suggested. It took time though.
