Determining the true value of a Domain!! - bishop21 - 12-06-2019

How do you guys determine the true value of any domain? That you want to build PBN with.

I mean how much they worth and all. If a domain is bought for $4000 then its doesn't necessarily mean that its good and effectively going to help the PBN.

Well most certainly it depends on many things such as the backlink profile of the domain, the domain name itself, history of the domain etc.

The thing is there is no way to determine how much any domain is going to effect a PBN. You get a domain in your niche. Build a site on it and then link back, that's it. In my own opinion its only the cost that matters. You bought a domain for 10k but that doesn't even belong to your niche or your related niches. Imagine the situation if you want your money back then you have to sell it for more than 10k.

The best way is to ask an experienced domain broker who specializes in selling the type of domain you own. There is public historical sales data to help you compare domains to get a sense for median average values.

Ultimately, a domain name is worth whatever a buyer is willing to pay for it. Determining this price is an artform unto itself, with a myriad of contributing factors including length, language, trends and demographics.

The value of domain will be based on the age, history, traffic, backlinks, authority, popularity, etc.

Apart from the checking the domain for spam and all. Some considers TF as a determining element. For one TF unit the price is set to $1. So, if a domain has TF 20 then it will be priced $20. Although it is totally different each marketer that comes by. Some might suggest that you should consider DA as a metrics.

Finally it comes to the buyer how much he or she is willing to pay for it(or bid if that's the case).

The Domain value is subjective in nature. It depends on the history of the domain and its age and its name.
It also depends on the link that are built pointing towards this domain.
And the value of anything subjective depends on the negotiations between the buyer and seller.
