The important thing to remember about do-follow and no-follow links is that no-follow links do not pass Page Rank, while do-follow links pass Page Rank. These are the most important attributes of nofollow and dofollow for SEO purposes. If you are employing link building strategies, make sure you get a mix of both. This is because nofollow links are actually part of a natural link profile. If you have too many dofollow links it becomes obvious you are building links to manipulate search engine ranking results and you may get penalized.
