I am seeing some terrible fluctuations.

I am not sure what is happening.
SEMrush is now steady but traffic is down around 25% compared to the last month.

Yeah, its steady. Maybe its your site that's fluctuating. Anyway wait and watch for the next 48 hours before panicking.

Fluctuations or not. Google is weird this week after the de-indexing issue.

I don't blame the OP for panicking. Back then when I started. If these kind of fluctuations would have happened then I should have panicked too perhaps even more.

Its like google is trying to corner us. Those who rely on SERP's primarily for traffic. So, you will go to adwords.

I have been unable to move above a competitors paid Manta listing for local SEO. I used to be ahead of him.

In my opinion Manta is waste of time. If you are trying to do SEO.
