Google's Auto-suggest is an algorithm by Google to provide a better user experience in choosing from the search term(as suggested by Google) that the users are looking for. The auto-suggest is a feature which suggests keywords from the popular searches that has/had happened in Google.

Google Suggest or autocomplete is a Google search engine function that provides suggestions to users as they enter their search query into the search box. Autocomplete predictions are automatically generated by an algorithm without any human involvement based on a number of objective factors, including how often past users have searched for a term.
