Some marketers are suggesting that we should cloak the links. but are n't we prone to have more conversions if we don't hide the direct affiliate links. Some questions to you guys is that what is the probable thing to do?

I would suggest that you should cloak them. Many email providers basically send the emails to spam folder if they contains links of jvzoo or clickbank.

So, should I cloak them or use an url shortener.

Its best that you use an relevant anchor text and an url shortener so that with that link you can track the clicks too.

Putting direct links may end up your email in the spam folder of the receiver. So, its your choice.
