The best way to learn SEO is to learn it first correctly.
You can learn SEO in the MOZ Blog and Backlinko blog. For blog tips and learning guides follow DailyBlogTips. And that;s it. Many people will tell you to follow Neil Patel's QuickSprout Blog but I don't recommend it.
Then start using those techniques in real blog and sites. You can certainly apply those techniques in your own blog. Yeah, you fail for first that's obvious but what you should be able to do is that learn from your mistakes.
