Google Showing “X Hours Ago” on Indexed Pages — How Can I Hide or Remove This? - juliepinkett - 11-18-2025

Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed something odd with one of my client’s website picktech innovations. When their pages appear in Google search results, Google is showing a timestamp like “3 hours ago” or “5 hours ago.”

These pages aren’t blog posts or news articles, so the freshness timestamp doesn’t really make sense and looks confusing to users. I’m trying to figure out:
  • Why is Google showing these timestamps?
  • Is there any way to remove or prevent the “hours ago” label from appearing?
  • Does this have something to do with structured data, last-modified tags, or server headers?
Has anyone dealt with this before? What’s the best way to hide or stop Google from displaying these timestamps?

Thanks in advance!
